This was a fun visit to the local zoo. I got to see, pet, and feed animals I've never seen before.
Koala's first. They had a bunch and they were as cute as they look.
This guys name was "Shrek the Giant Croc"
Here are some of the 20 or so Kangaroos that I fed while at the zoo. So friendly. Don't know why I can't just bring one home as a pet.
Not sure I've seen birds with such bright colors before.
Mr. pelican. Odd to see at the zoo when I took a picture the day before of 20 on the boat ramp.
"A Dingo ate my baby". Looks like a nice house dog to me...
What is this ugly looking thing? Yep, a Wombat... Pretty smelly too.
A Casawary (sp?) Difficult to get a picture as these are very deadly, mean, and well protected. The fence looked like it had been hit by a rhino repeatedly...
Local tree frogs. About 20x the size of our tree frogs back home.
IDK. Some kind of lizard that really like having his photo taken.
