Keeping with tradition, I managed to meet up with pro Patrick Evoe at the airport, well actually all 3 airports. Port Macquarie, Sydney, and Hawaii. Patrick came in second overall for this race. We chatted for a while at the airport and it was good to hear that this bike course was tough for him as well. As a matter of fact, he said it was the slowest bike he has had in 4 years.
